The Infidelity Arrangement Roger Daltrey and His Wife

When Yoko Ono realized her marriage was about to end, she attempted to get inventive in order to keep John Lennon engaged. She readily arranged for her husband to have an affair with his helper, believing that a hook-up with another woman would end Lennon’s interest in her. So ‘infidelity’ was not an issue for Yoko, and it appears that she was not alone. When it came to openly having affairs, The Who singer Roger Daltrey had a ‘contract’ with his wife, model Heather Taylor. In 2018, the vocalist told Irish News that Heather had no problem with Daltrey having hookups because the model understood what she was getting herself into by marrying a rock star: “If [their marriage] was going to last, it had to be a problem-free marriage because of the business I was in.” Without company, life on the road can be a very lonely place month after month. And we were on tour for five, six months at a stretch as one of the world’s biggest rock bands.

” Daltrey then went on to explain why adultery was not a grounds to end a marriage: “Sexual infidelity should never be used to justify divorce.” Unless you fall in love, it’s primarily just a s**g for a man.” He also lauded his wife of 52 years, joking that she might be ‘the one:’ “I’m beginning to like her [Heather], and I’m considering not kicking her out.” I adore her. We are now closer than ever. She understood me and my company, and she accepted me for my honesty at first, and it worked. We never allowed the trivial things that break up marriages damage ours.” However, it appears that not everyone was as adaptable or understanding as Taylor when it came to Roger’s rocker lifestyle, since the singer had to leave his first wife Jackie and their son Simon to pursue his musical career and life on the road with The Who.
