The Foo Fighters announce new tour dates for 2024

One year after the death of their beloved drummer Taylor Hawkins, the Foo Fighters hit the road again in 2023. The band has announced further 2024 tour dates, which will take place in stadiums all around the United States, following numerous concerts in the United States, Canada, and South America. The Pretenders, Mammoth WVH, The Hives, Alex G, Amyl & The Sniffers, and L7 will perform as opening acts for the concerts in July and August. The band will play in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK prior to the performances in the United States.

After Nirvana disbanded, Dave Grohl started the band. Along with him, the group is made up of Pat Smear (guitar; 1995-present), Chris Shiflett (guitar; 1999-present), Nate Mendel (bass; 1995-present), Rami Jaffee (keyboards; 2005-present), and Josh Freese (drums; 2023-present).

The band is presently promoting “But Here We Are,” their most recent album, which was released in 2023 and is their first without drummer Taylor Hawkins. Drums on the new album were played by the band’s frontman Dave Grohl.
