The journey is planned to begin on May 5 in Cardiff, Wales, in the United Kingdom, and it will culminate in a concert at Wembley Stadium in London on July 25. Along with Ireland, France, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway, the tour will also make stops in a few other U.K. locations. The 2024 European tour schedule for Springsteen and company includes two-night engagements in Stockholm, Sweden; Madrid, Spain; and Milan, Italy. Starting this Thursday, November 2, tickets for a gig on July 9 in Odense, Denmark, will be on sale. Tickets for the remaining shows will go on sale over the course of the following few days. Tickets can be purchased through StubHub, where FanProtect offers 100% guaranteed purchases. Due to demand, prices on StubHub, a secondary market ticketing platform, may be higher or cheaper than face value. During a tour that lasted from late April to late July of this year, Springsteen and the E Street Band also made stops in Europe. The new European tour is positioned between the North American tour legs of 2024, which include U.S. and Canadian dates that were rescheduled following the Boss’s injury and subsequent need for medical attention for peptic ulcer disease.
The rescheduled North American dates consist of eight Canadian events in late October and November, a 10-show run of U.S. concerts in March and April, and six additional U.S. concerts in August and September. On Tuesday, Springsteen’s social media platforms celebrated Halloween by sharing a particularly eerie post that included a glimpse of the music video for his 2008 song “A Night with the Jersey Devil.” On October 31, 2008, the song was first made available to fans as a download-only single as a “Halloween treat.” It was influenced by lore of a fabled beast that is said to stalk the Pine Barrens region of New Jersey. A comment saying, “The legend lives!” and a quotation from Springsteen that goes, “If you grew up in central or south Jersey, you grew up with the ‘Jersey Devil,'” are attached to the post. The song was included on a 7-inch vinyl that was published as part of the 2009 Record Store Day event, and the video for “A Night with the Jersey Devil” later surfaced on a DVD that was included with the deluxe edition of Springsteen’s 2009 studio album Working on a Dream.
