The 2023 Cannes Film Festival will include the world premiere of Leonardo DiCaprio’s “Killer of the Flower Moon.”

Hollywood The upcoming movie “Killer of the Flower Moon,” starring Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio, will have its international premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023, the festival’s organizers announced on Friday.

Since winning best director for “After Hours” in 1986, Scorsese will be presenting a movie at Cannes for the first time, according to the US-based media outlet Variety.

A stellar cast, including Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, Jillian Dion, and Tantoo Cardinal, is assembled for the Marti Scorsese-directed movie.

According to the festival, who was quoted by Variety, all of them are anticipated to walk the red carpet among other cast members and crew members.

The famous Grand Theatre Lumiere in France will host the movie’s world premiere on May 20.

The historical drama “Killers of the Flower Moon,” which is about the Osage tribe’s repeated persecution and murder, will debut in a small number of theaters on October 6 before going nationwide on October 20.

The movie is the second significant project the director and the Academy Award-winning actor have worked on together, following “Gangs of New York,” “Aviation,” “The Audition,” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

Aside from that, Leonardo most recently appeared in the Netflix-streamed satire “Don’t Look Up.” The movie received favorable reviews from online users and featured noteworthy performances by Jennifer Lawrence, Rob Morgan, and Jonah Hill.

Contrarily, Scorsese most recently helmed the crime thriller movie “The Irishman,” which stars Robert De Niro in the title role.
