Several shows by Paramore have been canceled due to an unspecified illness

Due to illness, four dates on their North American tour have been canceled. The band had to reschedule three more gigs in July after first postponing their show in San Francisco on Saturday (July 22), which was pushed to Aug. 7. The band’s Seattle gig, initially set for July 24, has been rescheduled for August 9, Portland from July 25 to August 10, and Salt Lake City, Utah from July 27 to August 13. The band’s July 29 gig in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the following show in St. Louis on July 30 are still listed on their website, as are the remaining and rescheduled August dates. “As announced yesterday, our show in San Francisco has been postponed due to illness within the touring party,” the band said on social media after the show was canceled in San Francisco. “After much deliberation, and in the interest of our health and ability to put on a show you all deserve, we have decided to reschedule our shows this week in Seattle, Portland, and Salt Lake City.”

Following Paramore’s last-minute cancellation in San Francisco, the band apologized to ticket holders in another statement. “We tried everything we could to put on the show last night,” the band claimed. “We understand that some of you waited in line for hours, traveled long distances, and changed your plans to attend. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.” “To everyone affected by these postponements, please know that we do not take postponing a show lightly,” the band added. We don’t want to cancel a show that we’ve all been looking forward to for months. We love you, we apologize, and we hope to see you again soon.” Following the band’s remaining July and August gigs, Paramore will begin a worldwide tour in New Zealand on November 18. The tour will include stops in Australia, Europe, and the United Kingdom before culminating with three gigs at Wembley Stadium in August 2024.
