Polly Samson, the spouse of David Gilmour, feels vindicated following Roger Waters’ criticism

David Gilmour’s wife, Polly Samson, rehashed the antisemitism discussions over the former Pink Floyd singer on Twitter after the publication of “The Dark Side of Roger Waters.” She cited a tweet from earlier this year by Roger Waters in which he shared an interview with the Berliner Zeitung that addressed these allegations and wrote: “Just so you know. This interview published in Berliner Zeitung was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I didn’t include that in my tweet from February 6 because I would never want to promote his beliefs. In response, Heidi Bachram reshared the most recent anti-antisemitism video from the Campaign Against Antisemitism and declared Samson had been “absolutely and completely vindicated.” The musician tweeted as Bachram commended her for her “honesty and bravery” “I’m grateful. I wish I had the fortitude to combat all antisemites with the same tenacity and bravery as you do. Roger Waters was dubbed a “Putin apologist, lying, thieving, hypocritical, misogynistic antisemitic” by Samson on Twitter in the beginning of 2023 in response to his comments regarding the Israeli government and the Russia-Ukraine war.

She then admitted that her statements caused her to receive antisemitic texts. The singer exposed one of them, accusing Jews of “corruption, theft, ritual murder of children,” and other things. Since I called out Roger Waters’ antisemitism, I regularly receive garbage like this. Even if it’s disgusting, I have no regrets because seeing would be far worse. The most recent tweets from Samson are listed below.
