The venerable metal band Pantera has revealed their updated tour itinerary. The band hopes to elevate their performances from last summer with this new program, which is an extension of their North American tour. On their official website, the band posted the following statement regarding the impending tour: “In February, heavy metal legends Pantera will make a comeback to the stage as part of their North American headline tour. The trip comes after the group’s wildly popular twenty-city tour this past summer, which was one of the most anticipated tours of 2023, and their dates opening for Metallica. This latest run of live engagements honors the memory of late founder members drummer Vinnie Paul and guitarist Dimebag Darrell, with classic members Philip H. Anselmo, bassist Rex Brown, guitarist Zakk Wylde, and drummer Charlie Benante.
The Pantera gigs from last summer, which featured Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante, garnered a lot of attention. These tribute concerts to “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott are scheduled for February. Additionally, it appears that there will be a lot of interest in these shows. Prior to the concerts, Zakk Wylde declared that it would only be a temporary arrangement and identified himself as a co-participant. It is a question of curiosity with which group members the group’s future projects will be carried out, in accordance with the interest garnered.
