Ed Sheeran is presently on tour with his ‘+-=x Tour,’ and on June 30 he performed at the Gilette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. It was originally scheduled for R&B singer Khalid to accompany Sheeran on stage, but last-minute alterations in the arrangement caused Sheeran to ask John Mayer to join him. Mayer just shared about their time together on Instagram. He stated: “Dead to Ed To Dead.” It was an honor to open for Ed Sheeran at Gilette Stadium north of Boston, filling in for Khalid.” John also recalled how he couldn’t refuse Ed’s invitation and how he continued performing after their show with the words: “When Ed asked, the idea was just too appealing to pass up, and I jumped at the chance to cover for two of my friends at the same time.
” After ‘Thinking Out Loud,’ it was straight to the aircraft and off to Boulder for three nights of music with Dead&Company… I have guitar, and I will travel for the music and the people I love.” The couple may be seen performing ‘Thinking Out Loud’ below.
