Nikki Sixx Speaks Out About John Corabi’s ‘Mötley Crüe’ Album

On August 28, Nikki Sixx revealed his feelings about John Corabi’s only album with Mötley Crüe through Twitter/X. A user asked Sixx to be frank about his feelings towards the eponymous album from 1994, and the bassist responded: “Awesome sounding album.” Some excellent tracks. At the moment, we gave it our best.” He then responded to another user’s query regarding whether he disliked Mötley’s ‘Theatre of Pain,’ a 1985 album Sixx is said to despise: “Those [rumors] are not true. [The album contains] some major hits as well as some badass deep tracks.” Previously, former Mötley Crüe singer John Corabi stated why ‘it was possible’ for Nikki to employ ‘backing recordings’ during live gigs.

The former vocalist then blamed Mötley Crüe for Mick Mars’ dramatic exit from the band, claiming Sixx and co. had been plotting to expose Mars for a long time. Nonetheless, Nikki has not responded directly to any of Corabi’s words since then, and he has now chosen to ‘praise’ Mötley’s single record with their former singer. Sixx’s tweets are listed below.
