Morrissey’s Public Disgrace of Madonna

Several notable British musicians, including Noel Gallagher and Morrissey in 2015, have attacked the Brit Awards over the years. However, the singer not only blasted the award event, but also degraded Madonna in a lengthy article on the fan website ‘True To You.’ The former Smiths frontman expressed his thoughts on Madonna performing on the Brits stage immediately before the release of her new album. He stated: “Thus, for 2015, we have MacDonna, who had a quiet 2014 (but is about to release her new album! ), yet here she is again promoting her frightening career on the Brit Awards despite the fact that her music has never said anything at all about British life.” Morrissey further recommended the audience to challenge the Brits because the prize was given to a song that was not in the top 40. He added: “Just as the Brits launch party highlighted a song that only reached number 62 on the UK chart, it’s your own fault if you think this Awards show has any connection to anything other than the junk propaganda of the biggest labels gathering to share out awards for their own artists, whom they plan to heavily promote in 2015.

” The artist had previously made comments about Madonna on other venues, one of which was her love of fur. Morrissey, who is very environmentally sensitive, made comments regarding Madonna’s adopted kid David, according to 24Sizzler, saying: “I wouldn’t be surprised if she [Madonna] made that African boy into a coat and wore him… for 15 minutes before tossing him.” In addition to Morrissey’s candid comments on the Brits and Madonna, Noel Gallagher expressed his thoughts on The 1975’s Matt Healy’s recent win for best rock/alternative act at the award show. Here’s what Gallagher had to say: “I was watching it with my kids, two teenage boys, and I was thinking, ‘Is it just me being a grumpy old man, or is this shit?” They were both thinking to themselves, ‘Oh no, this is f*cking trash.’ Best Rock Band: The 1975? Someone needs to re-define that right away because… I’m not sure what that is, but it’s not f*cking rock. That’s not it, whatever rock it is.”
