Madonna Celebrates Life Following a Hospitalization

Madonna celebrated her 65th birthday on August 16th, and after recuperating from her health crisis, she wrote a message of thanks on Instagram. “It’s great to be alive,” she captioned a video on Instagram. “It’s incredible that I can put on my dancing shoes and celebrate my birthday!” I’m Overjoyed. Thank you, Lisbon, and everyone who helped make it happen!” The film includes footage from Madonna’s birthday celebration in Portugal, which included horseback riding and a boat excursion, with her 1990 song “Vogue” serving as the soundtrack. Check it out down here. Madonna had to cancel her Celebration Tour in June due to a bacterial infection. The singer was in the intensive care unit for several days. “I didn’t want to let anyone down who had purchased tickets for my tour,” she remarked after the news surfaced. “I also didn’t want to disappoint the people who had worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to put my show together.

” I despise disappointing people. “My focus right now is on my health and getting stronger, and I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can,” she continued. Madonna has since saved the tour’s US leg. The new dates will start on December 13 in Brooklyn, New York. The “Express Yourself” singer will also make stops in Boston, Detroit, Chicago, and Atlanta, among other cities. Her complete tour schedule may be seen HERE. Madonna has kept her followers up to date on her health status since her hospitalization. Her most recent post was last month, when she thanked her friends and family for their support during this difficult time. “As a Mother, you can get really caught up in the needs of your children and the seemingly endless giving,” she posted on Instagram. “However, when the chips were down, my children really came through for me.” I saw a side to them that I hadn’t seen before. It was the deciding factor.”
