Keith Urban Apologizes for Inadvertently Disclosing Phoebe Bridgers’ New Romance

In an age where private moments can be made public with the press of a button, it’s logical that celebrities are vulnerable to the shortcomings of tabloid journalism. Keith Urban, on the other hand, demonstrates that these errors aren’t necessarily the result of a frantic paparazzi. Urban shared a TikTok video with his wife, Nicole Kidman, dancing at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Philadelphia show on May 15. The video’s criticism stems from the unintended revelation of singer Phoebe Bridgers’ relationship with Emmy and Grammy-nominated comedian Bo Burnham, as the film intentionally portrays the two kissing.

Fortunately, Urban was extremely regretful about the incident, saying in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, “Phoebe, I’m so sorry” and “it felt very awkward.” Urban commented on the mishap. “I was just digging on the concert!” he told the newspaper. “You just never know what’s going to happen.” Regardless, Urban was not using Swift’s energetic performance as an excuse, as he stated that he still “felt bad” about the situation.

Bridgers and Burnham have been rumored to be dating since earlier this year, following repeated sightings of the two in Los Angeles. Nonetheless, neither has commented on the situation or their relationship status.Given that Bridgers has been opening for several Swift gigs on her recent tour, it makes logical that the two were seen at the concert together. On May 5, Bridgers opened for Swift at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. Regardless of Urban’s unintended disclosure of Bridgers and Burnham’s intimate moment, it’s reasonable to say that the video proves one thing: the two couples were having a fantastic time. Urban agrees, saying the concert was “so much fun” and that Swift will “be among the greatest songwriters period…when it’s all said and done.”
