A few days before the 78-year-old singer, songwriter, and entertainer kicks off a six-date engagement series in Sin City at Caesars Palace, featuring concerts on November 10, 11, 15, 17, 18, and 22, comes word of Stewart’s final Vegas residency appearances. When Stewart performs on August 7, 2024, it will be his 200th gig at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum, having started his residency there in 2011. Many of the iconic performer’s best-known songs, such as “Maggie May,” “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy,” “You Wear It Well,” “Tonight’s the Night,” “Forever Young,” and “Every Picture Tells a Story,” are performed by him at the show. “We have had the great privilege of being Sir Rod Stewart’s Las Vegas home at The Colosseum for more than a decade,” a statement from Caesars Entertainment CEO Jason Gastwirth reads. “Sir Rod Stewart is a true rock legend.” “We have been in awe of Rod’s flawless showmanship and superstar talent throughout his residency, showcasing his timeless catalog of hits, and we are immensely grateful for the innumerable memories he created for our guests.
” Stewart revealed in a recent interview with Haute Living magazine that he is excited to perform the songs that will be on an upcoming swing CD he has recorded after wrapping up his engagements in Vegas. I adore Caesars Palace, unadulterated. They handle me like royalty,” he remarked. However, I really want to start singing that material since I worked with a man named Jools Holland on a swing album. I’d like to advertise it. If the CD is a huge hit and I return to Vegas, which I would like to do, I might be able to do a large band or swing concert. Who is aware? In addition to his November shows in Las Vegas, Stewart has one more engagement scheduled for December 13, 2023, in Madrid. His schedule for 2024 consists of three shows in the United States in February, an Asian tour in March, a journey to Europe in June and early July, and the previously announced last series of shows in Vegas in July and August.
