In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Travis Barker of Blink-182 addressed the speculation over his involvement in the conflict between the Kardashian sisters. Rumor has it that Barker’s 2016 memoir, in which he revealed his former crush on Kim Kardashian, had something to do with Kim and Kourtney’s current romance. In response, the drummer uttered: People believe they have the answer to the riddle of “this is why they’re fighting” when you provide them with a little knowledge. It’s really very silly. Travis expressed in his book that Kim was incredibly attractive, and he discreetly admired her, even though he was in a relationship with Paris Hilton at that time. Giving more context to his words, the rocker added: “It’s like, ‘Kourtney’s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer.’ Stop it. I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it. It was therapeutic for me.” Barker, who wed Kourtney in three different ceremonies the year before, stressed later in the interview that Kourtney is aware that he and Kim used to talk, but that nothing improper was happening.
The musician clarified: “That’s her sibling.” She is aware that we once spoke. Nothing untoward was occurring. Barker went on to say that Kourtney is not offended by his earlier comments regarding her sister. Nevertheless, Kourtney and Kim have been at odds for the entire two seasons of “The Kardashians.” It all started when Kim accepted a position as director of a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show soon after Kourtney and Travis were married. Kim, according to Kourtney, is self-centered because she wants what is rightfully hers. Kim maintained that Kourtney had evolved, and their relatives and friends had even had private conversations about it. But the true cause of their recurring conflict has less to do with the wedding attire and more to do with Travis. Recently, an insider revealed to Life & Style: “Although there has been animosity for years, the family’s dislike of Travis is the main issue. They all agree that Kourtney has changed since she started dating Travis, and they don’t like it, albeit some of them tolerate him more than others and some are less vocal about it. The insider continued by saying that Kim believes Travis has been progressively removing Kourtney from their family and inciting her to feel badly about them.
