“Game of Thrones” stars Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa reunite: “Can still bench press a Khaleesi”

The on-screen couple Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke got back together over the weekend, demonstrating that they are still the biggest fans of one another.

For the birthday of “Game of Thrones” co-creator David Benioff, the former cast members gathered in London.

Both stars shared comparable Instagram posts to remember the occasion. Clarke captioned the photo of Momoa picking her up, “When your sun and stars rolls into town you check that he can still bench press a Khaleesi.”

Momoa stated: “OF MY LIFE, MOON. You are amazing, and I will always love you.”

When Jason Momoa left “Game of Thrones,” he was “completely in debt.”

In the Emmy-winning HBO fantasy series, Clarke and Momoa played Daenerys Targaryen (also known as Khaleesi) and Khal Drogo, respectively.

His character was killed off after the first season, but Daenerys lived all the way to the end until being murdered off by her nephew-turned-lover Jon Snow in the series’ last episode (Kit Harington).

Between 2011 and 2019, eight seasons of “Game of Thrones” were broadcast.

After leaving “Thrones,” the actor admitted in 2020 that he was having financial difficulties.
