All guitarists and music lovers are invited. Eric Clapton, the legendary guitarist, is teaming up with Guitar Center to reveal the Crossroads Guitar Festival’s 25th Anniversary Guitar Collection. The statement states that “the new collection includes six limited-edition meticulously crafted recreations and signature guitars – several from Clapton’s career and one from fellow guitarist Carlos Santana, along with some all-new signature models.” “On the occasion of the 2023 Crossroads Guitar Festival, Guitar Center is proud to once again show our support for Eric Clapton, the festival, and his Crossroads Centre Antigua,” stated Michael Doyle, Guitar Center’s General Manager, Guitars.
“We are honored to have been invited by Eric to work with him and the world’s best guitar makers to create these unique instruments.” The collection may be traced back to a decade-long collaboration between Guitar Center and Clapton. Since 2004, Guitar Center has co-sponsored each of Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festivals and has been a strong supporter of the Crossroads At Antigua Foundation. The models in the collection are as follows: Martin Martin D-45 Brazilian Rosewood Limited Edition Acoustic Guitar by Eric Clapton; Martin D-45 Madagascar Rosewood Limited Edition Acoustic Guitar by Eric Clapton; Fender Custom ShopTM Limited Edition Eric Clapton D-28 Signature Acoustic Guitar Masterbuilt by Todd Krause, Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster® in Blu Scozia; Fender® Eric Clapton CRASH Stratocaster® Limited Edition; and PRS Private Stock Carlos Santana I Crossroads in Santana Orange.
