Stallone was skilled at rewriting scripts because he wrote the original one for Rocky years before the movie was released. After joining the cast of Beverly Hills Cop, the actor significantly revised the script to make it more action-oriented and humorous in a caustic way. The Creed star left Beverly Hills Cop because the studio obviously didn’t like the alterations.

The 1984 film Beverly Hills Cop introduced audiences to the action/comedy subgenre by putting a murder in the middle of a plot. Even though there were numerous notable films at the time, the Beverly Hills Cop series became the most recognizable and well-known.
Eddie Murphy played the lead part in the film, and audiences all over the world adored him for it. Eddie Murphy wasn’t the directors’ first choice when casting the lead role, thus it wasn’t a smooth transition from pre-production until the movie’s premiere. According to rumors, Sylvester Stallone, a seasoned actor, was really awarded the part before Murphy.
Stallone enjoyed writing and had experience with scripts. The Rambo: First Blood actor made some big modifications after reading the script and signing the film. Stallone noted that he gave the main character an additional wry sense of humor and changed the script to be a little more action-oriented (since that’s what his fans would want).
Although the alterations received accolades from the cast and crew, they ultimately would have diverged from the film’s original course. Eddie Murphy was chosen to play the lead part after a dispute between the studio and Stallone, as is only natural. The franchise was launched by Beverly Hills Cop in 1984, when it grossed an astounding $316 million at the box office!

starring as Rocky Balboa in the 2015 film Creed, in which Stallone took on the role again. The film went on to win numerous awards, and fans all over the world even got two sequels. However, the actor was absent from Creed III as a result of his conflict with Irwin Winkler and Michael B. Jordan.
