Deadpool 3’s release date is up in the air following a poor Disney update

Deadpool fans may have to wait a little longer than expected as Disney updated its release date schedule. Deadpool 3 may face delays after a leaked timetable reveals that its premiere would be later than expected, disappointing Marvel fans. With the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Jennifer Garner as Elektra, the third installment of the humorous hero, portrayed by actor Ryan Reynolds, is going to be one to watch. It will also be the first film produced by Marvel Studios rather than under the Fox/Marvel umbrella. Disney, on the other hand, has announced an updated movie calendar for the next few months, and Deadpool 3 is nowhere to be found. The third installment in the sub-franchise was meant to be kept for May 2024, however according to Disney’s list via The Direct, the film will not be released then. Here is the full list of upcoming movies and when to expect them:
A Haunting in Venice – September 15, 2023
The Creator – September 29, 2023
The Marvels – November 10, 2023
Next Goal Wins – November 17, 2023
Wish- November 22, 2023
The Bikeriders – December 1, 2023
Magazine Dreams – December 8, 2023
Poor Things- December 8, 2023
All of Us Strangers – December 22, 2023
Elio – March 1, 2024
Snow White – March 22, 2024
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes – May 24, 2024

The actors and crew were in the midst of filming in London when the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes forced a halt. Delays are being implemented across Hollywood, with some of the most anticipated forthcoming shows and films being postponed until further notice. While it is hoped that the matter will be settled sooner rather than later, considering the most recent failed negotiation, it may take longer than fans expect. Even if actors and writers did put off their strikes and return to work now, bringing Deadpool 3 to theaters in May 2024 may be a close call. The plot of Deadpool 3 has remained mostly unknown, however it is likely to center heavily on Deadpool’s relationship with Wolverine. This will be their first appearance on screen together since X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Given that this film did not go over well with fans or critics, it is anticipated that they will be able to redeem themselves in this third Deadpool installment.
