The band, now inducted into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame, answered some questions about their history and disclosed what they were proud of that Oasis couldn’t do. When asked what they were most proud of over their career, Kroeger responded with the following: “Staying together as a band.” Ryan Peake, a guitarist, added: “I don’t know if you’ve seen bands, but keeping four personalities together is difficult.” The leader then alluded to Oasis and Gallagher’s animosity for one another: “We were never in any danger of breaking up. It’s just that there are a lot of bands with brothers that fight like cats and dogs. How long will the world spend trying to reassemble Oasis? They despise each other.

I’m very glad that we’re still a band after 27 years.” The band was admitted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the 2023 Juno Awards, and their plaque was unveiled at the National Music Centre’s Studio Bell in Calgary.
