Billy Corgan, the frontman for the Smashing Pumpkins, and Chloe Mendel were married. The couple originally announced their engagement on WGN TV, when the group was celebrating the release of the record “Siamese Dream” on its 30th anniversary. The’secret’ wedding’s specifics were recently revealed on Corgan’s Instagram. The musician posted a video of the incident and wrote as follows: “Chloe Mendel and I are pleased to be able to share this special time in our lives with all of our friends, family, and of course our fans after a year of secrecy about the date of our wedding. We obviously had a different path to marriage, but we wouldn’t have had it any other way since we were able to start a family with Augustus Juppiter and Philomena Clementine.
We were both dressed in couture from Chloé’s father, the renowned Gilles Mendel, to make the day even more memorable. We are joyful and in love. And we sincerely appreciate the well wishes from everyone. True love is elusive, therefore we consider ourselves fortunate to have discovered it in each other. Last year, on the day of Mendel’s 30th birthday, the musician proposed to her, which the model initially took to be a birthday gift. Mendel and Corgan have been together for more than ten years and have two kids together. The couple has our best wishes.
