Ann Wilson Singing Led Zeppelin Is ‘Way Better Than Robert Plant,’ says the singer. According to Glenn Howerton

Glenn Howerton chose Heart’s Ann Wilson over Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant in a recent episode of ‘The Always Sunny Podcast,’ when the three hosts were discussing their all-time favorite rock vocalist. “Ann, the vocalist of Heart, is my favorite rock vocalist.” Personally, I believe she is the greatest rock vocalist of all time. Her voice is wonderful, in my opinion. Have you heard her perform [Led] Zeppelin songs? I’m sorry, but it’s far superior to Robert Plant. She really destroys Zeppelin.

” Although Glenn did not identify which Led Zeppelin version he was referring to, the one that made the most attention was when Ann and Nancy Wilson, along with Jason Bonham, performed ‘Stairway to Heaven’ at the Kennedy Center in 2012 as a tribute to Led Zeppelin. It was a smash with the band, and Ann told Guy ‘Favazz’ Favazza and John Ulett of St. Louis, Missouri radio station KSHE 95 in 2020 that even Plant was thrilled by the performance; she said: “‘You know what?’ remarked Robert Plant.

I’ve grown to despise ‘Stairway To Heaven,’ because everyone simply kills it. But you all did fantastic.'” Glenn’s co-hosts, Charlie Day and Rob McElhenney, each named their favorite rocker differently. Glenn, on the other hand, was adamant about his choice, so he added: “I consider her to be one of the greatest rock vocalists of all time.” I believe she blows all of the folks you f*cking named out of the water. She’s amazing.
