The trailer for Michael Mann’s gripping biopic, starring Adam Driver and Penélope Cruz, has arrived. Adam Driver has starred in Michael Mann’s long-awaited Ferrari as another renowned Italian, Enzo Ferrari. The official synopsis for the film, which will premiere tomorrow at the Venice Film Festival, is as follows: “It is the summer of 1957. Behind the glamour of Formula One, ex-racer Enzo Ferrari is in distress. Bankruptcy threatens the factory he and his wife, Laura, started from scratch ten years ago. Their tumultuous marriage has been strained by the death of their son, Dino, a year ago. With Lina Lardi, Ferrari struggles to acknowledge his son Piero. Meanwhile, his drivers’ desire to win drives them to the limit as they go on the perilous 1,000-mile race across Italy known as the Mille Miglia.”
